💼 About This Role

You'll design and build flight hardware for Starship at SpaceX, including propellant tanks, structures, and subassemblies. You'll own end-to-end processes from concept to flight, making real-time decisions on complex problems. This role offers hands-on work with a world-class production team to make humanity multi-planetary.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop design concepts from clean sheet and size vehicle structures
• Create detailed CAD models in NX for components and assemblies
• Build finite element models and analyze designs for structural needs
• Validate designs through development testing and structural tests

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience with mechanical design and analysis

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with FEA software like NASTRAN, ABAQUS, or ANSYS
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or Excel for analytical programming
• Experience designing and executing qualification testing
