Description

You will provide home health occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities. You will conduct evaluations, develop care plans, and educate patients and families to promote independent living.

Requirements

• Current VA Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum 1 year recent OT work experience
• Graduation from accredited OT program
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits for evaluations and treatment
• Develop individualized intervention plans
• Assess home environment for hazards and equipment needs
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care
• Document patient care using electronic tablet
