Description

You will design HVAC systems for new construction and renovation projects in educational, healthcare, commercial, and science & technology sectors. Working under a licensed engineer, you'll perform load calculations, create Revit/BIM models, and specify equipment, collaborating with project teams and clients to deliver building designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of related experience
• Proficiency in Revit and energy modeling software (Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus)
• EIT/FE in the United States preferred
• LEED accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

• Design ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for HVAC systems
• Calculate heating and cooling loads using energy modeling software
• Prepare Revit/BIM models of HVAC systems from schematic design to construction administration
• Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handling units
• Interface with clients and project team at OAC meetings
