Description

You will lead the re-platforming of an internal KVM-based virtualization environment onto new UCS hardware, integrating OpenStack and open-source automation tools to support workload migration. Collaborate with network architects and storage teams to ensure seamless operations in a fully remote setting.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Linux, KVM, and OpenStack
• Strong background in UCS hardware, SAN, and NetApp storage
• Proficiency with Ansible or similar automation tools
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and across time zones

Responsibilities

• Tear down and rebuild ESX-based UCS blade environment to KVM virtualization
• Design and implement OpenStack platform for internal use
• Integrate SAN and NetApp storage solutions
• Deploy and configure open-source automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Document architecture, configuration, and operational procedures
