💼 About This Role

You'll lead RF communications systems engineering for Telesat Lightspeed LEO network, optimizing link budgets and system performance. You'll collaborate with system architects and engineers to partition functions between hardware and software, driving end-to-end system verification.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Reviewing link budgets and performing system-level trade-offs
• Deriving top-level specifications for RF links and subsystems
• Creating and reviewing test procedures and compliance results
• Providing technical support and mentoring junior engineers

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with DVB-S2X and DVB-RCS2 standards
• Proficiency in Python or Matlab for RF system modeling

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with active antenna beam forming technologies
• Knowledge of adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) methods
