💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of cloud platform engineers, managing AWS-based infrastructure for high-volume SaaS systems. You'll drive operational excellence through CI/CD, GitOps, and observability while implementing cost optimization strategies and shaping cloud architecture. This fully remote role combines technical leadership with strategic influence across engineering and finance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud platform engineers
• Oversee scalability, reliability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure
• Manage AWS environments including EKS/Kubernetes, networking, storage
• Drive operational excellence through CI/CD, GitOps, and observability

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in technology roles, at least 5 managing cloud infrastructure teams
• Deep expertise in AWS ecosystem including EKS/Kubernetes, IAM, VPC
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Advanced knowledge of GitOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloudflare technologies (WAF, CDN, edge infrastructure)
• Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance and zero-trust architectures
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps
