Civil Space Sales Manager

Description

In this role, you will shape and capture U.S. government civil space business opportunities, focusing on agencies like NASA and NOAA. You'll build relationships with key decision-makers, develop proposal strategies, and track relevant programs to expand Astranis' market share.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. in engineering or hard science
  • At least 5 years experience in engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales/business development
  • Working knowledge of US civil space community, commercial space industry, associated organizations and programs
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of time
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities

  • Support building relationships with civil space customers and partners at NASA, NOAA, national labs
  • Improve awareness of Astranis solutions by engaging with key decision-makers in civil space organizations
  • Develop materials for customer interactions: talking papers, briefings, requirements shaping, RFI responses
  • Lead proposal activities including capture and proposal management, writing, and team support
  • Track civil space programs of interest including budget, Congressional actions, and technical requirements
