Description

You will join the Web Services Team to build and maintain accounts and email services for Thunderbird's new suite of privacy-respecting productivity tools. You'll lead feature development, diagnose email issues at scale, and collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver reliable, user-first solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years software development experience, 2+ as Senior Engineer
• Strong full-stack development experience
• Direct experience with email delivery
• Autonomous and able to lead feature development
• Collaboration and ownership mindset

Responsibilities

• Build and prototype new features and solutions
• Develop metrics to monitor email delivery rates and sender reputation
• Evaluate and improve code architecture for scalability and maintainability
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical strategy
• Support service reliability and participate in on-call rotation
