Description

As a Spectrum Engineer at Astranis, you will support technical coordination efforts across a large portfolio of GSO orbital slots, identify new spectrum opportunities, and prepare technical materials for FCC and ITU filings. You'll run interference analyses, coordinate with external partners, and represent Astranis in regulatory discussions to help expand global connectivity through advanced satellite networks.

Requirements

• Strong RF fundamentals
• Experience with Visualyse, MATLAB, STK, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Engineering Bachelor's degree (electrical/telecom/space preferred)
• 1+ years regulatory experience in satellite spectrum matters

Responsibilities

• Support technical coordination across GSO orbital slots
• Develop orbital portfolio by identifying new spectrum rights opportunities
• Prepare technical materials for FCC, ITU, and other filings
• Run detailed interference analyses (GSO-GSO and GSO-NGSO) using Visualyse
• Coordinate internally to gather technical data from sales and sales engineering teams
