Description

You will design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes for the Starlink satellite internet system, working with cross-functional teams to scale from prototype to high-volume production. You will own the relationship between engineering development and production teams, ensuring quality, reliability, cost, and manufacturability targets are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years manufacturing experience (professional, project/research, or combination)
• Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Able to travel up to 10%
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
• Collaborate with mechanical design team on design for manufacturability
• Lead prototype builds and ensure incremental milestones for production development
• Ensure manufacturing systems meet high-volume rate, cost, and quality targets
• Identify automation opportunities and evaluate ROI for production line implementation
