💼 About This Role

You'll lead Prosper's Application Security program, driving strategy and implementation of security controls across the organization. Your core impact is protecting customer financial well-being in an innovative FinTech environment. You'll manage a high-performing team and embed security into the SDLC for cloud-native applications.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and execute a multi-year Application Security roadmap
• Integrate threat modeling and security testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Oversee the AppSec vulnerability lifecycle from identification to remediation
• Manage and mentor a team of Application Security engineers

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive application security experience
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams
• Deep technical knowledge of secure SDLC and security tooling (SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, SCA)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native security (GCP)

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Working knowledge of at least two programming or scripting languages
