You'll build and evolve Avra's data platform, transforming messy SMB data into structured datasets. You'll work alongside senior engineers to implement pipelines, improve workflows, and make systems more reliable. This hands-on role focuses on learning by doing in production, with ownership of critical platform parts over time.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain data pipelines ingesting and processing data from APIs, files, and external systems
• Contribute to orchestration workflows using tools like Dagster
• Support data modeling efforts to structure datasets and transformation layers
• Investigate data inconsistencies, handle schema changes, and debug pipeline failures
• Add monitoring, logging, and checks to improve system reliability

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Experience with Python for data processing or automation
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of basic data modeling concepts
• Strong learning orientation and ability to work in a team

• Experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Dagster
• Experience with cloud platforms
