Description

You will lead the platform engineering organization at Rootly, owning infrastructure reliability, scalabilty, and developer experience. You will define strategy, hire the team, and build the platform that enables product engineers to move quickly and safely.

• Experience leading platform or infrastructure teams
• Systems thinking and ability to define strategy and roadmap

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, and roadmap for infrastructure and developer platform
• Build and lead a high performing Platform Engineering organization (SRE, infrastructure, DevEx, internal tooling)
• Architect highly available, redundant, scalable infrastructure foundation
• Lead capacity planning, cost management, performance tuning, and long term scaling
• Drive operational maturity via infrastructure as code, declarative infrastructure, and automation
