You'll design and implement features to protect users and ensure platform resilience against attacks. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deliver security features with safety in mind
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliant architectural choices
• Lead code review and foster transparent team culture
• Conduct internal and external security and privacy reviews

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with modern web application development
• Ability to drive technical quality and operational excellence
• Experience in developing secure software or security-related features

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with anti-abuse mechanisms like bot detection
• Previous work on security countermeasures at web/backend/database level
• MediaWiki or Wikimedia project experience
