You'll own the tools that power Starship software development and design, maintain, and scale continuous integration systems. This high-autonomy role lets you identify the biggest problems and own solutions from start to finish.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Invent tools and processes for fast and correct software development
• Hands-on integration and troubleshooting across Starship software stack
• Design and maintain on-premises compute pool with counterpart teams
• Create innovative solutions to enable software team challenges

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Bachelor's in CS/engineering/math/STEM
• 9+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of degree
• Willing to work long hours and weekends as needed
• US Person status (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

✨ Nice to Have

• Skill with Bazel or similar build systems
• Fluency in Python, C++, Rust, or Go
• Experience building tools impacting hundreds of engineers daily
