Description

You will perform skilled fabrication, welding, and repair of water and wastewater equipment for the City of Fort Worth. This role supports critical infrastructure maintenance and emergency response operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of related metal fabrication experience
• Must pass physical and drug screen
• TIG, MIG, STICK, FLUX welding certifications preferred
• Class A CDL and TCEQ licenses preferred

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, and repair components of water and wastewater construction equipment
• Monitor and evaluate quality, responsiveness, and efficiency of assigned operations
• Perform technical and complex tasks of the work unit
• Respond to and resolve public inquiries and complaints
• Ensure preventative maintenance on equipment is completed
