💼 About This Role

You'll independently develop mechanical designs for renovations and upgrades to existing federal buildings in Indian Head, MD. Your work will support modernizing facilities to comply with strict codes and energetic manufacturing processes. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop requirements and review design packages for building renovations
• Prepare technical memoranda on maintenance status and upgrade projections
• Complete facility design services and support compliance reviews
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on design projects

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years experience (10+ preferred)
• PE license or actively pursuing licensure
• Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software

• Experience with HVAC system design and selection
• Knowledge of MEP construction drawing sets
• Experience in energetic manufacturing environments
