You'll lead Counterpart's flat-by-design engineering organization as the first AI-native insurance company, owning the technical vision and scaling impact through better infrastructure and AI agents. This role combines deep technical leadership with board-level strategy to redefine how software is built in an AI-native world.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set forward-looking technical vision for engineering
• Drive efficiency by leveraging AI and agents
• Own engineering standards, delivery quality, and allocation decisions
• Partner with CEO and product leaders to refine building and operating processes

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of engineering leadership experience through company-stage transitions
• Deep technical fluency in system architecture, AI/data infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Experience leading fully distributed teams with high trust and accountability
• Strong point of view on AI-native engineering beyond tool usage
