💼 About This Role

You'll join the Monetization Platform team at the heart of Confluent's business strategy, building flexible, accurate, and scalable systems for usage-based billing and pricing. You will own business-critical flows from ideation to completion, collaborating across engineering and product teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable backend services for monetization platform
• Build accurate and reliable usage-based billing and pricing systems
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams on feature delivery

📋 Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or C/C++
• Experience with Kubernetes and public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Deep knowledge of designing distributed systems in the Cloud

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kafka and streaming platforms
• Experience with SaaS platform development
• Experience running production services at scale
