💼 About This Role

You'll own thermo-mechanical hardware designs for Helion's fusion generator, solving multidisciplinary problems to deploy fusion energy. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Engineering at our Everett, WA office. This is a pivotal time to join a team with urgency, rigor, and ownership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and improve thermal, fluids, and structural subsystem requirements
• Design fusion hardware in 3D CAD (e.g. NX) and perform analysis (e.g. ANSYS)
• Work hands-on with technicians to implement hardware designs
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on integrated fusion generators

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 7+ years of professional experience delivering full-scope engineering projects
• Advanced experience with CAD software (e.g. NX, Solidworks)
• Hands-on exposure to fluids, mechanical, and thermal engineering disciplines
