Description

In this role, you will join Collibra's Test Engineering team to drive testing activities and strategies within an Agile environment. You'll design and develop automation frameworks, coach team members on testing best practices, and advocate for a shift-left approach to quality across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in test automation
• Experience in Java and/or TypeScript, and automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured)
• Experience with DevOps, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and building CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools (JIRA or similar)
• Work authorization to work in Belgium

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts and test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured)
• Review requirement specifications and user stories for testability
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and drive continuous testing
• Identify, document, and track issues; participate in exploratory testing
• Coach developers and other SDETs on testing best practices
