Description

You will use your expertise in pathogen detection assays to train large language models by conversing on real-world lab scenarios and theoretical assay design questions. You will verify factual accuracy, capture error traces, and suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, or closely related life-science field
• Peer-reviewed publications
• Hands-on experience with pathogen assay development or diagnostics
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, or ISO standards
• Clear metacognitive communication (showing your work)

Responsibilities

• Challenge language models on PCR, qPCR, ELISA, lateral flow assays, antigen/antibody testing, sensitivity/specificity analysis, multiplexing, controls/standards, and assay troubleshooting
• Document failure modes to harden model reasoning
• Verify factual accuracy and workflow logic of model outputs
• Capture reproducible error traces
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
