💼 About This Role

You'll join the Investment Accounting team to support accounting and reporting for Protective Life's mortgage loan portfolio. You'll ensure accurate GAAP, Statutory, and management reporting while executing month-end close activities and maintaining data integrity in accounting systems. You'll also contribute to system enhancements and process improvements.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Complete GAAP, Statutory, and Dai-ichi reporting for mortgage loan investments.
• Execute month-end close activities including reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
• Research and resolve accounting or data issues with internal teams and external providers.
• Assist with system upgrade testing and support special projects as needed.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with financial systems and structured accounting processes.

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA designation.
• Prior experience with mortgage loan accounting or investments.
• Exposure to GAAP and Statutory accounting frameworks.
