💼 About This Role

You'll design and build the core architecture of our simulation platform at Astranis, a leading satellite communications company. Your work will validate intelligent systems before real-world deployment by creating scalable, high-performance virtual environments that integrate flight software and autonomy stacks. You'll own the simulation infrastructure that powers validation for advanced space systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain system-level and SIL simulation environments
• Build APIs for cross-functional teams to plug in models
• Integrate flight software and autonomy stacks into the simulator
• Develop backend tooling for automated large-scale simulations

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in CS, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years in software simulation, systems architecture, or complex development
• Expert in Python with strong working knowledge of C++
• Experience architecting or maintaining custom software simulators or test harnesses

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in aerospace, automotive, or robotics
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux, RTOS, or HIL setups
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud simulation scaling
