You'll guide design and architecture of critical components of the Lightspeed Retail product used globally. You'll contribute to systems, uplevel engineering craft through mentoring and best practices, and improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years as technical leader for multiple teams
• 2+ years managing architecture across 35+ engineers
• Experience with multiple tech stacks like Go, PHP, Java, RoR, Python
• Proven track record building business-critical cloud systems

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are well designed and scalable
• Analyze systems and infrastructure, improve architecture and performance
• Identify recurring patterns to reduce incidents and overhead
• Conduct architectural deep-dives and mentor engineers
• Drive improvements in system reliability and development practices
