You will source, catalog, and sell works in Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art through live auctions, online sales, and private sales. You'll combine deep subject-matter expertise with proactive business development and client relationship management to drive the category's strategic growth.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art
Deep subject-matter expertise and rigorous scholarship
Strong client-facing and business development skills
Experience in auction or art market environments
Excellent research, writing, and editorial abilities

Responsibilities

Identify and secure consignments for Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art sales
Cultivate relationships with collectors, advisors, and institutions
Conduct valuations and develop proposals
Drive private-sale opportunities alongside auctions
Oversee cataloging, research, and production of auction catalogs
