💼 About This Role

You'll lead research projects improving Veracode's SAST capabilities and conduct original security research. You'll identify vulnerabilities in C/C++ and C#/.NET applications, produce proofs of concept, and engage in binary static analysis. This role offers the chance to contribute to the security community through conferences and publications.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct research to identify security vulnerabilities in C/C++ and C#/.NET applications
• Describe vulnerabilities and produce proofs of concept for engineering teams
• Engage in binary and source static analysis/reverse-engineering
• Contribute expertise to customer-facing documentation and mentor developers

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of practical reverse-engineering or binary static-analysis experience
• 1+ years of practical application security experience (source code auditing, penetration testing)
• Prototyping ability to produce quick concept demonstrations
• Strong technical writing skills for developer audiences

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Abstract Syntax Trees (AST), reflection, or code transformation
• Experience with compilers, decompilers, disassemblers, or debuggers
• Active participation in security community (conferences, publications)
