You'll design and build distributed systems and high-performance APIs for a global crypto derivatives platform. Your work powers real-time and historical trading data access for traders and institutional clients. This remote role offers significant technical ownership in a fast-paced engineering team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain fault-tolerant distributed systems and microservices
• Build and optimize high-performance query systems for trading datasets
• Develop internal and external services including analytics and trading tools
• Work with data pipelines for ingestion, storage, and retrieval of market data

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering with Java expertise in distributed systems
• Strong background in Computer Science fundamentals
• Experience building RESTful services and integrating with databases and messaging
• Hands-on experience with Spring framework and containerised Linux environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL or data warehousing
• Exposure to trading systems or financial infrastructure
