You'll own high-impact analytical and modeling initiatives end-to-end at Thrive Market, an online membership-based market for healthy and sustainable products. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to drive measurable improvements in customer experience and business metrics, operating with significant autonomy. This role offers the chance to raise the bar for data science excellence in a mission-driven B Corp.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to productionization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to shape roadmaps and define metrics.
• Design and build statistical models and machine learning systems (e.g., personalization, ranking).
• Lead rigorous experimentation and A/B test design with causal inference.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or applied machine learning.
• Strong grounding in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Experience deploying production-grade models with cloud-based ML infrastructure (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with search, personalization, or recommendations.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices like CI/CD and model monitoring.
• Background in e-commerce or subscription businesses.
