Description

You will define and drive the product strategy for ensuring Pinterest's GenAI-powered systems are safe, fair, and trustworthy. You'll build proactive safety frameworks, lead threat modeling and red-teaming, and translate complex policy goals into measurable product requirements, working at the frontier of responsible AI.

Requirements

• 7+ years product management experience with depth in GenAI/ML, trust safety, or responsible AI
• Strong fluency in AI/ML concepts including generative models, recommendation systems, and RLHF
• Experience with AI ethics frameworks or relevant regulatory landscapes
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces
• Excellent communication skills for articulating technical and ethical trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for GenAI safety across AI-powered surfaces
• Lead proactive identification of risks, failure modes, and adversarial attack vectors with structured red-teaming
• Translate nuanced content guidelines into buildable product requirements and model guardrails
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, align, and ship AI safety solutions globally
• Define and track quantitative safety metrics including fairness audits and content harm reduction
