Description

You will support the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and processes for AST SpaceMobile's global cellular broadband network in space, helping transition products from design to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or 8 years equivalent experience
• 0-3 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Proficient with MS Office and CAD/CAM tools
• Understanding of tooling, gauging, and Six Sigma principles (preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assess new product designs for manufacturability and provide recommendations
• Develop and document manufacturing processes including layouts, tooling, and testing
• Continuously improve production methods using Six Sigma methodologies
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering support to operations
• Support qualification of new or modified products through manufacturing processes
