💼 About This Role

You'll join our hybrid Java/Go team to develop a Go microservice for our Fraud Prevention Platform, delivering real-time fraud alerts at scale. This high-impact role directly protects Vonage customers. You'll work in an environment where AI agents are actively used to accelerate development and enhance fraud detection.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop Go microservices for the fraud alert delivery pipeline.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency applications for fraud detection.
• Create scalable microservices to support growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration.
• Propose scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions.

📋 Requirements

• Excellent software engineering skills in Go for backend services.
• Strong focus on testing with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience with high throughput event-driven architectures, web services, and caching.
• Experience with AWS (RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, SQS, Lambda), Kafka, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
