You'll own and evolve rendering features and performance for a UE5 project across PC and consoles, driving visual quality with Nanite, Lumen, and virtual shadow maps. You'll collaborate with art and tech art to define performance-friendly asset and lighting best practices.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve rendering features and performance for a UE5 project across PC and consoles.
  • Profile and optimize GPU/CPU frame time using Unreal Insights and rendering analysis tools.
  • Partner with art and tech art to define content constraints for performance-friendly assets.
  • Support large-world production with World Partition, HLOD workflows, and streaming strategy.

📋 Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional game development experience.
  • Strong Unreal Engine 5 (or UE4 plus significant UE5 experience) and modern C++ skills.
  • Solid understanding of real-time rendering fundamentals including lighting, shadows, materials.
  • Demonstrated experience improving performance and stability in a production environment.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Shipped at least one title on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or Nintendo hardware with rendering responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience shipping with Nanite and Lumen, including scalability strategies and artifact mitigation.
  • Experience with World Partition and large-world streaming/HLOD pipelines.
