Description

You will build network automation tools to support switch configurations, config backups, software updates, logging, monitoring, and alerting. You'll create Python scripts to automate manual network processes, measure and improve network uptime and performance, and collaborate with network engineers to create maintainable infrastructure. This role is critical to supporting SpaceX's growing network infrastructure for rocket and spacecraft design, manufacturing, and launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, math, or science + 5 years network automation/DevOps/network engineering/SRE experience OR 8+ years network automation experience
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Automation skills in Python, Go, shell, bash, or other languages
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• ITAR compliance: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
