You'll own AI tooling adoption across the aerospace engineering org at Archer, building the strategy and playbook while shipping prototypes yourself. Your core impact is compressing program timelines by embedding with teams to replace manual workflows with AI-assisted tools. This role offers significant autonomy to set direction for a heavily invested area, reporting impact to engineering leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own AI tooling adoption strategy across aerospace engineering.
• Embed with teams to identify high-leverage workflows for AI.
• Build prototype tools that replace manual processes in days.
• Run enablement sessions and coach engineers on AI workflows.

📋 Requirements

• BS or higher in mechanical/aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years engineering experience on physical systems (aerospace/defense).
• Sustained, demonstrated obsession with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong programming fundamentals (Python) to build end-to-end tools.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in eVTOL, aviation, or safety-critical aerospace.
• Track record of driving change across an engineering org without authority.
