💼 About This Role

You'll be the first line of defense for the Tripadvisor Experiences platform, blending proactive security engineering with reactive incident response. You'll monitor threats in our AWS environment and automate defenses to build a more resilient platform, while working closely with engineering teams to secure our product's cloud infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts from AWS and security tools.
• Lead incident response for potential data breaches and application-layer attacks.
• Build and maintain security monitoring and alerting automation using Python or Go.
• Operationalize findings from SAST, DAST, and SCA tools with engineering teams.

📋 Requirements

• AWS security operations experience in production environment.
• Incident response full lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Scripting automation with Python, Go, or Bash.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with WAF, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
