💼 About This Role

You'll lead L10/L11 system integration for Etched's AI inference systems, ensuring seamless product introduction from prototype to high-volume deployment. You'll own manufacturing readiness for rack-level infrastructure including switches, PDUs, and cooling systems. This role offers the chance to redefine AI hardware infrastructure at a fast-growing startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead NPI and sustaining engineering for L10/L11 system integration.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for mechanical assemblies and rack integration.
• Partner with suppliers and CMs to qualify materials and processes.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and mechanical validation for integrated assemblies.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering for datacenter or AI hardware systems.
• Deep knowledge of L10/L11 integration including racks, switches, PDUs, and cooling systems.
• Hands-on CAD/CAE experience (Creo, SolidWorks, or similar) with strong GD&T fundamentals.
• Proven experience with DFM and high-volume manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, die casting, etc.).

• Experience with large-scale AI or datacenter infrastructure manufacturing.
• Supplier cost modeling and should-cost analysis.
• Thermal infrastructure design including liquid cooling distribution systems.
