💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the site expert for control systems, sensors, PLCs, and automation at our Magdeburg location. You'll collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize conveyor and automation equipment, improving uptime and system reliability. This role offers the chance to lead continuous improvement projects and train technicians in troubleshooting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems for high availability
• Perform root cause analysis and implement improvement concepts
• Collaborate with automation team for smooth production operations
• Train technicians in control system troubleshooting basics
• Document all work in CMMS and ticketing system

📋 Requirements

• 3-4 years of automation experience with Siemens (TIA, WinCC, WinCC flexible)
• Experience with Cognex cameras (DataMan) in automation projects
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, ASI-Bus, MODBUS/TCP)
• Good German and advanced English skills

• Experience in material transport, flow control, SCADA, and MHE performance monitoring systems
• Degree in electrical engineering or comparable automation experience
