💼 About This Role

You'll perform vehicle diagnostics and preventive maintenance on a fleet of school buses, ensuring safety and reliability. You'll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, contributing to Zūm's mission of transforming student mobility. This role offers hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline systems in a dynamic environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair steering, electrical, braking, and drive train systems.
• Assist with rebuilding engines, transmissions, and differentials.
• Perform test drives to identify and confirm repair issues.
• Conduct road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years medium/heavy truck fleet mechanic repair experience.
• Diagnostic, electrical, and AC skills required.
• Technical knowledge of diesel equipment and major vehicle systems.
• Must possess recommended minimum hand tools for diesel technicians.

✨ Nice to Have

• Valid CDL License (must obtain within 90 days).
• ASE Certification in brakes, suspension, engine, electrical, or A/C.
