Description

As a Hardware Test & Verification Engineer at Carbon Robotics, you will develop verification and validation plans, set up and execute tests on electrical and structural components for the LaserWeeder, and analyze results to ensure high product reliability. You'll collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers, coordinate with external test houses, and travel to farms and manufacturing facilities as needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in hands-on verification, validation, and testing roles.
• Extensive experience setting up and analyzing results from shock/vibe, structural, climatic, power distribution, and PCB test equipment.
• Experience collaborating with ME and EE design engineers to develop verification and validation plans.
• Experience coordinating with external test houses and managing vendor acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with UL, IPC, SAE codes and CAD/PCB tools such as Solidworks and Altium.

Responsibilities

• Lead component level qualification test design and execution including shock/vibe, climatic, power distribution, PCB, and structural testing.
• Develop test plans and execute full system integrated testing for functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Manage component level acceptance test design and coordinate with vendors for pre-delivery testing.
• Scope and document standards and compliance for target sales jurisdictions.
• Support safe system design and compliance with safety regulatory bodies.
