Description

You will design and help bring to production miniaturized, precision mechatronic systems for best-in-class surgical devices. You'll work on the full product development lifecycle in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and hands-on problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience designing precision mechanical components with exposure to injection molding, CNC machining, additive manufacturing, or stamping
• Curiosity, ownership mindset, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and validate mechanical and mechatronic subsystems for minimally invasive surgical devices
• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies
• Select materials and components for precision, miniaturized mechanisms
• Execute hands-on testing and experimentation
• Partner with manufacturing to optimize designs for DFM/DFA
