Description

You will perform home visits for adult and geriatric patients, conducting evaluations and providing therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. You'll develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, and document care using a tablet.

Requirements

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from ASHA or equivalent
• Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits for evaluations and therapy in designated territories
• Assess and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and independent living
• Document patient care management using electronic medical records
