Description

As an Equipment Service Technician, you will maintain and service automation equipment in the warehouse, coordinate maintenance schedules, and collaborate with operations to ensure smooth operations. You'll champion safety, diagnose complex issues, and continuously improve equipment performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years performing repairs and maintenance on packaging equipment or related machinery
• 2-year technical degree (required)
• Capable of independently scheduling and performing tasks with minimal oversight
• Flexible work schedule for support outside normal hours, including occasional late afternoons and weekends
• Basic understanding of PLC operation and VF

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs, maintenance, and startup on packaging equipment, conveyors, air compressors, and automated systems
• Utilize controls software (Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Cognex Dataman) to diagnose complex automation issues
• Lead root cause analysis using tools like A3 and drive continuous improvement
• Manage preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and rebuilds, documenting in CMMS
• Maintain spare parts inventory, coordinate with vendors, and facilitate vendor relationships
