Description

You will shape and implement platform safety policies to keep Lyft's community safe and reliable. You'll build foundational processes and infrastructure for a best-in-class, LLM-first Safety Policy and Operations function, influencing strategy, developing frameworks, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Legal, Product, and Risk.

Requirements

• 3-5 years Trust & Safety policy experience in digital services
• Experience applying AI/LLMs to Trust & Safety policy and operations
• Experience developing Trust Safety policy taxonomies and processes
• Strong project management and collaboration skills
• Technical acumen to collaborate with engineers on requirements

Responsibilities

• Influence definition, direction, and priorities for Safety Policy and Operations
• Establish and enforce policy research standards and build reusable infrastructure
• Develop adoptable frameworks (e.g., lifecycle steps) for cross-functional alignment
• Act as strategic partner on high-priority safety areas with cross-functional teams
• Perform data analyses to identify safety trends and risks, integrating insights
