Description

You will advise early-stage crypto portfolio companies on communications needs, manage and amplify the efforts of the crypto team, and market crypto more broadly. You'll be a trusted advisor to founders, build media networks, and collaborate with research, events, and editorial teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in communications with expertise in media relations, executive communications, crisis communications
• Experience working in or strong interest in immersing yourself in crypto
• Strong partnership skills
• Lifelong learner
• Self-starter with ability to build from 0-1
• High EQ
• Low ego, high empathy
• Ability to attend quarterly offsites and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Partner with the larger crypto team to build and execute communications plans
• Be a trusted advisor for dozens of portfolio companies and their founders
• Build strong industry and media networks
• Work with crypto research and engineering team to amplify their work
• Work with crypto general partners on executive communications
• Collaborate with events and editorial/content teams on marketing initiatives
• Create and update press and influencer lists and messaging documents
