💼 About This Role

You'll join Veterinary Emergency Group as a part-time ER veterinarian, handling a wide variety of emergency cases including exotics. You'll provide life-saving care and communicate directly with pet owners in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. This role offers the chance to be a leader on the hospital floor with a collaborative team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Answer medical questions over the phone and triage patients.
• Conduct physical exams, ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies.
• Perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment plans with clients.

📋 Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Experience in emergency medicine including emergency surgery and endoscopy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) on your own, and up to 40 kg (88 lbs) with assistance.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
