Description

You will manage and execute the company's revenue accounting function, including handling revenue recognition activities, performing contract reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment. Your work will directly support a high-growth tech company disrupting the handheld radio industry.

Requirements

4-6 years of public accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
CPA designation or pursuing CPA
Deep understanding of US GAAP and accounting processes
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly revenue recognition journal entries and reconciliations (AR, unbilled receivable, deferred revenue)
Review sales contracts for proper revenue accounting under ASC 606, including multiple performance obligations
Analyze and present monthly P&L performance (revenue and cost of revenue) for close meetings
Document and refine revenue recognition policies and procedures
Partner with Billing team to execute monthly collections analysis and calculate A/R allowance
