Description

This role combines strategy and execution, focusing on ecosystem engagement, community building, and scalable startup programming. You will strengthen MongoDB's presence among high-growth, venture-backed startups in New York City by building relationships with founders, VCs, accelerators, and startup communities.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in marketing, community, ecosystem, or events roles focused on startups, developers, or technical founders.
• Experience leading projects and collaborating across teams from strategy through execution.
• Familiarity with the New York startup ecosystem and relationships with founders, VCs, accelerators.
• Experience working in or closely with startups or venture capital firms.
• Highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage multiple initiatives; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MongoDB representative in the New York startup ecosystem, building relationships with founders, VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
• Drive high-value startup acquisition into MongoDB for Startups program.
• Develop and execute regional event strategy including hackathons, demo nights, founder dinners, and conference activations.
• Partner with startups to highlight success stories and produce compelling content.
• Own cross-functional alignment with MongoDB Ventures, Revenue Marketing, Strategic Events, and DevRel.
