Description

You will assist with a variety of labor and employment litigation matters core to Lyft's business, working cross-functionally to address novel legal challenges. You'll report to the Senior Director, Litigation Employment in a hybrid role (3 days/week in SF or NYC).

Requirements

• 5+ years labor and employment litigation experience in-house or at large/mid-size law firm
• J.D. from top-tier law school and member of California or New York bar
• Experience litigating complex labor employment matters
• Experience responding to grievances, unfair labor practices, and agency charges
• Ability to manage complex workloads in fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters in state/federal courts and administrative forums
• Handle high-volume portfolios including grievances, unfair labor practices, arbitration, and agency charges
• Collaborate with Legal Team and outside counsel to develop labor strategy and ensure compliance
• Manage outside counsel including budgeting and alignment with legal strategy
• Provide cross-functional legal advice to Finance, Product, Safety, and Policy teams
