Description

You will lead the design and validation of new medium voltage power distribution products at IEM, managing and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure successful project outcomes and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MSME preferred)
• 10+ years experience in R&D or product development in power distribution
• Proven track record of leading engineering projects and developing new technologies
• Experience in medium voltage power distribution systems
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD; CFD or FEA experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and validation of medium voltage power distribution products (metal clad/enclosed switchgear)
• Manage and mentor engineers, tracking project timelines and ensuring quality and efficiency
• Drive on-time performance and minimize design errors for NPI projects
• Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize designs for manufacturability
